Assistant Field Safety Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Implement safety protocols and procedures.

• Perform regular safety audits.

• Facilitate training sessions focused on safety practices.

• Collaborate closely with project teams to cultivate a safety-oriented culture.

• Conduct job site orientations.

• Rotate between various job sites, initially concentrating on projects in Gainesville, Florida.

• Develop skills under the guidance of existing Stellar Safety employees.

• Travel to other states as required.

• Participate in meetings, training, and events.

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor during business trips.

• Adhere to company travel policies and procedures.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

• Capability to effectively address safety issues.

• Proficiency in collaborating with project teams to promote a safety culture.

• Flexibility to adjust to various environments and evolving conditions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent in a construction trade.

• Minimum OSHA 30 certification.

• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.

• Willingness to travel on short notice.

• Ability to live away from home for extended periods.

• Capacity to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged durations.

• Proficiency in using a computer, phone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment.

• Capability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

• Visual acuity for detailed tasks and computer work.

• Ability to wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Willingness to work any hours and on any day as required.
