This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist instructional faculty by engaging with students in large online classrooms.
• Develop and execute communication strategies and supplemental instruction techniques to enhance student success.
• Adhere to a structured schedule of 20 hours weekly, reporting to key Faculty members within the designated team.
• Provide support for Online undergraduate courses CIS333, SEC340, SEC420, and SEC435.
• Evaluate student participation in discussions and assessments, responding according to training and lead instructor guidance.
• Aid in managing student communications.
• Refer unique issues to the lead instructor.
• Assist in grading and offering constructive feedback.
• Track student engagement and suggest strategies to boost involvement.
• Deliver tutoring, live sessions, and additional student support as directed.
• Conduct student outreach as required.
• Contribute to the development of supplementary support materials, such as documents, videos, and job aids.
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field is required.
• Security+, CEH, or CHFI certification is mandatory.
• Candidates lacking the necessary certifications must commit to a professional development plan to obtain these certifications within one year of employment.
• Professional experience in the relevant field is preferred and may be necessary based on course credentialing standards.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience with online teaching is preferred.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to engage effectively with faculty, coaches, and learners.
• Strong time management capabilities.
• Skills in relationship-building, customer service, and problem resolution.
• High attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.
• Experience accommodating a variety of learning styles.
• Proficiency with technology to facilitate learning.
• Availability for weekday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET and weekends.
• Willingness to hold weekend office hours.
