Asset Resolution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of defaulted loans

• Execute loss mitigation strategies

• Review and confirm documentation

• Address technical foreclosure inquiries from borrowers

• Evaluate workout alternatives for delinquent loans, including foreclosure, short sale, reinstatement, and deed in lieu

• Present proposals for the option that provides the highest return for the investor

• Negotiate loss mitigation plans with investors

• Set clear expectations with borrowers and involved parties regarding loan status and challenging decisions until final resolution

• Foster relationships with internal teams and business partners

• Monitor updates, analyses, and decisions in relevant systems

• Propose ideas for enhancements and increased efficiency

• Assist in the implementation of new concepts and initiatives

• Generate regular and on-demand reports

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry

• Bachelor’s degree

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Capability to guide customers and investors through retention and/or liquidation processes while advocating on their behalf

• General understanding of the full loss mitigation process

• Ability to manage a pipeline independently and efficiently

• Competence in completing secure biometric and device identity verifications

• Must fulfill employment eligibility verification requirements
