
Art Supervisor, Pharmaceutical Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Lead the development of concepts and art/design across projects with varying levels of complexity and scope.
β’ Serve as a bridge between creative teams and junior/mid-level account staff.
β’ Ensure that creative output aligns with strategic goals, brand standards, regulatory requirements, and maintains a consistent brand experience.
β’ Present and advocate for creative work both internally and externally.
β’ Oversee the workloads of direct reports and intervene as necessary to uphold quality and timelines.
β’ Drive and enhance design and art direction within the team.
β’ Offer constructive feedback to junior creatives on both copy and art elements.
β’ Create compelling multichannel creative work and data visualizations derived from complex scientific data.
β’ Estimate project hours for oneself and direct reports.
β’ Mentor and support the growth of junior team members.
β’ Collaborate with planning, UX, development, account management, product management, production, studio, and cross-functional teams.
β’ Build strong client relationships and assist in selling ideas.
β’ Contribute to efforts aimed at new business development.
β’ Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
β’ Over 6 years of experience in an advertising agency setting.
β’ A minimum of 3 years working with pharmaceutical clients.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
β’ Strong understanding of FDA regulations and pharmaceutical promotion requirements across all communication channels.
β’ Deep knowledge of marketing and advertising principles.
β’ Proficiency in presenting and defending creative work both internally and externally.
β’ Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to monitor workloads of direct reports.
β’ Ability to lead and enhance design and art direction within the team.
β’ Proven track record of taking responsibility for concept and art/design development across projects of varying complexity and scope.
β’ Experience in liaising between creative teams and junior/mid-level account members.
β’ Familiarity with brand standards, accessibility best practices, and multichannel creative development.
β’ Mastery of file management and best practices, including The One Intouch Process.
β’ Ability to apply advanced design principles to scientific information and data visualizations.
