This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assume full accountability for the creation and development of concepts and art/design across projects of various complexities and scopes.
• Serve as a liaison between creative professionals and junior/mid-level account team members.
• Address both strategic and creative expectations effectively.
• Utilize knowledge of FDA regulations and pharmaceutical promotion requirements in communication across channels.
• Ensure that work achieves its maximum potential while adhering to brand standards.
• Maintain a consistent brand experience throughout all channels.
• Present and defend creative work both internally and externally.
• Oversee the workloads of direct reports and intervene when necessary to uphold quality and timelines.
• Lead and enhance design/art direction within the team.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with planning, UX, development, creative, account management, product management, production, studio, and cross-functional teams.
• Cultivate strong relationships across internal teams.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at new business development.
• Exhibit inclusive behaviors and actively manage bias.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead and elevate art/design within the team.
• Capability to provide constructive feedback to junior-level creatives.
• Strong conceptual skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Experience in leading art direction across diverse projects, scopes, complexities, and channels.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe InDesign is essential.
• Ability to execute design work in both digital and print formats.
• Proficiency in estimating individual hours for oneself and direct reports.
• Ability to create clear data visualizations from complex scientific information using advanced design principles.
• Mastery of file management best practices and The One Intouch Process.
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Understanding of clients’ business and the business impact of delivered work.
• Ability to collaborate with planning, UX, development, creative, account management, product management, production, studio, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in presenting and selling ideas to clients.
• Experience in contributing to new business initiatives.
• A portfolio showcasing multichannel creativity, conceptual thinking, strategic/business acumen, and meticulously crafted designs.
• A broad range of industry experience, including product launches and label updates.
• Interest in and experience with leveraging emerging AI tools.
