
Area Vice President – Enterprise Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create sales strategies and solutions that enhance Abbott’s Medical Device value proposition for healthcare partners.
• Foster relationships with regional hospitals, IDNs, medical groups, and healthcare intermediaries.
• Collaborate with business-unit sales leadership to implement access strategies and drive sales performance.
• Establish and maintain relationships at the IDN/system level.
• Conduct business reviews to secure optimal positions within key accounts.
• Develop and execute both short- and long-term business plans across various Abbott Medical Device divisions.
• Work alongside stakeholders within the matrixed organization to devise comprehensive customer solutions.
• Explore key regional and assigned national accounts to identify business opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with crucial decision-makers.
• Recognize emerging customers and spearhead innovative sales and account strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create solutions and services that extend beyond contracting.
• Lead thorough business plans with customers and facilitate internal reviews.
• Manage both financial and non-financial resources responsibly.
• Oversee Corporate Sales Executives accountable for sales in designated accounts.
• Build high-performance teams and foster effective relationships, both internally and externally.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive responsibility in the Cardiology or related Medical Device sectors.
• At least 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles.
• Ability to think at an enterprise level and engage with the broader organization.
• Proven ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate.
• Demonstrated success in leading matrixed, cross-functional teams that include senior managers and executives.
• Expertise in the industry with knowledge of the competitive landscape, emerging trends, and effective contracting and negotiation strategies.
• Familiarity with vascular, cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac electrophysiology procedures.
• Capability to manage competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
• Innovative thinking and insight into legal, regulatory, and reimbursement environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize issues, synthesize data, and provide strategic direction.
