Area Sales Manager, Southeast Michigan – Northern Michigan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee the designated territory and establish a sales strategy to penetrate new markets, broaden the presence, and meet sales objectives.

• Cultivate relationships with distributors and end-users to enhance product adoption and foster loyalty.

• Formulate and execute sales plans that align with market dynamics and organizational objectives.

• Leverage data and market insights to refine the sales methodology and optimize revenue potential.

• Collaborate with distributors to devise promotional strategies for products.

• Provide training and education to trade school trainers regarding proper product utilization.

• Engage with customers in face-to-face interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 2-5+ years of sales experience within the tools, construction, or a related field.

• Familiarity with the tools market, key stakeholders, and factors influencing purchasing decisions.

• Proven history of surpassing sales targets and driving growth initiatives.

• Capability to develop a sales strategy and adapt as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

• Highly self-sufficient with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to build and oversee a territory.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must reside within 30 minutes of the market.
