Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Enhance the volume of funded deals by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Discover, onboard, and foster growth with dealers in your designated local area.

• Showcase and convey the company’s products and services to management at Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to assigned and additional accounts.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone inquiries.

• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with existing and prospective dealer partners.

• Communicate with dealer partners via phone or in person regarding current programs.

• Educate dealers on Western Funding and the documentation necessary for prompt contract funding.

• Report to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree or relevant work experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales is necessary.

• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or at a Car Dealership is advantageous.

• 1–2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven success record.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies.

• Competent computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.

• Results-driven mindset aligned with company goals.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to meet with auto dealers.

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

• Candidates must reside in the US.

• Comfortable working remotely and while traveling.
