Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Enhance the volume of funded transactions by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Discover, onboard, and drive growth with dealers within the designated local territory.

• Present and convey the company's products and services to all management levels at both independent and franchise dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone inquiries.

• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners.

• Communicate with dealer partners via phone or in person regarding ongoing programs.

• Train dealers on Western Funding and the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.

• Report to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Comfortable working remotely and traveling frequently.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• College degree or relevant work experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of automotive, finance, and sales sectors.

• Previous experience in the financial services industry or at a car dealership.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a demanding sales position with a proven success record.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales methodologies.

• Competent computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.

• Results-driven mindset aligned with company goals.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to meet with auto dealers.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
