Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Enhance the volume of funded deals by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Identify, onboard, and foster growth with dealers within the designated local region.

• Present and communicate the company's products and services to all management levels within independent and franchise dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to assigned accounts.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone inquiries for independent and franchise dealers.

• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with existing and potential dealer partners.

• Engage with dealer partners via phone or in person regarding current programs.

• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding and the necessary documentation for prompt funding of contracts.

• Report to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• High School diploma or equivalent (mandatory).

• College degree or equivalent professional experience (preferred).

• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors.

• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership.

• 1–2 years of previous experience in a demanding sales position with a proven success record.

• Clear and effective presentation abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales methodologies.

• Advanced computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit auto dealers.

• Candidates must be based in the US and comfortable working remotely and on the road.

• Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
