Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Enhance the number of funded transactions by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Discover, onboard, and foster growth with dealers in the local area.

• Present and convey company products and services to management at both independent and franchise dealerships in person.

• Identify potential sales leads and reach out to assigned and other accounts.

• Follow up on inquiries and referrals generated from phone conversations.

• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with existing and prospective dealer partners.

• Communicate with dealer partners via phone or in-person regarding ongoing programs.

• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding and the necessary documentation for rapid contract funding.

• Report to Regional Sales Managers.

• Operate remotely and travel while visiting auto dealers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must reside in the US.

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree or comparable work experience is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Extensive understanding of the automotive, finance, and sales industries.

• Previous experience in the financial services field or within a car dealership is necessary.

• 1–2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven track record of success.

• Strong and effective presentation capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies.

• Strong computer proficiency and adaptability to new technologies.

• Results-driven orientation in alignment with company goals.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

• Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage.

• Capability to work both remotely and while on the road.
