Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Effectively present and communicate the company's products and services to all management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.

• Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with current and potential dealer partners.

• Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners via phone or in person regarding current programs.

• Train dealers on Western Funding processes, including the necessary documentation for expedited funding of contracts.

• Boost funded deals by collaborating with suitable dealers.

• Identify, onboard, and manage the growth of dealers in the local area.

• Report directly to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the US.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales.

• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or at a Car Dealership.

• 1–2 years of experience in a challenging sales role with a demonstrated track record of success.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.

• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

• A valid driver's license is required; driving is an essential function and alternative transportation is not acceptable.
