Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Expand the number of funded transactions by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Recognize, onboard, and foster growth with dealers in the designated local area.

• Present and articulate company offerings to management at Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to assigned accounts.

• Follow up on leads and referrals generated from phone calls.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance relationships with current and potential dealer partners.

• Engage with dealer partners via phone or in-person regarding ongoing programs.

• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding and the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.

• Report to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales.

• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership.

• 1–2 years of previous experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated record of success.

• Clear and effective presentation abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment scheduling, and sales strategies.

• Strong computer proficiency and adaptability to new technologies.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory; driving is a critical function, and alternative transportation is not an acceptable substitute.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Must be located in the US.
