Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Effectively present and communicate the company's products and services to all management levels within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.

• Identify potential sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts.

• Follow up on newly generated leads and referrals that arise from telephone outreach to Independent and Franchise dealers.

• Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners.

• Maintain communication with dealer partners regarding ongoing programs via phone or in-person meetings.

• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding and the necessary documentation for prompt funding of contracts.

• Enhance the number of funded deals by collaborating with suitable dealers.

• Identify, onboard, and facilitate growth with dealers within the designated local region.

• Report directly to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong understanding of automotive, finance, and sales sectors.

• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is necessary.

• 1–2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven history of success.

• Exceptional presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment scheduling, and sales strategies.

• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to meet with auto dealers.

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
