Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Expand the number of funded deals through strategic partnerships with appropriate dealers.

• Identify, onboard, and foster growth with dealers within the designated local area.

• Effectively present and discuss company products and services to management at both independent and franchise dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to assigned accounts.

• Follow up on leads and referrals generated from telephone inquiries.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance relationships with current and prospective dealer partners.

• Communicate with dealer partners via phone and face-to-face regarding ongoing programs.

• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding processes and the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.

• Report directly to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A college degree or relevant work experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of the automotive industry, finance, and sales.

• Prior experience in the financial services industry or a car dealership is essential.

• 1–2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated success record.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment scheduling, and sales methodologies.

• Proficient computer skills and willingness to adapt to new technologies.

• Results-oriented approach aligned with company goals.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to meet with auto dealers.

• Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage.

• Candidates must reside in the US and be comfortable working remotely and on the road.
