Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Enhance the volume of funded transactions by collaborating with appropriate dealers

• Identify, onboard, and foster growth with dealers within the designated local area

• Build and sustain robust relationships with both independent and franchise dealers

• Present and convey company products and services to all levels of dealership management in person

• Recognize sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts

• Follow up on leads and referrals received through phone inquiries

• Develop, sustain, and expand existing and potential dealer partnerships

• Communicate with dealer partners via phone or face-to-face regarding current programs

• Train dealers on Western Funding processes and the documentation necessary for prompt contract funding

• Report to Regional Sales Managers

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required

• A college degree or relevant work experience is preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive, finance, and sales is necessary

• Previous experience in the financial services industry or within a car dealership is required

• 1–2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated record of success

• Clear and effective presentation abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment scheduling, and sales techniques

• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies

• Results-driven and aligned with company goals

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team

• Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit auto dealers

• Candidates must reside in the US and be comfortable working remotely and on the road
