Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Effectively present and communicate the company’s products and services to management at all levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to designated accounts.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls to Independent and Franchise dealers.

• Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with current and potential dealer partners.

• Engage with dealer partners via phone or in person regarding ongoing programs.

• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding and the necessary documentation for prompt funding of contracts.

• Enhance the number of funded deals by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Identify, onboard, and support growth with dealers within the local area.

• Report directly to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the US and be comfortable working both remotely and while traveling.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of the Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors.

• Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is essential.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated record of success.

• Excellent presentation skills that are clear and effective.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and effective sales techniques.

• Proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

• A valid driver’s license is required, as driving is a key function of this role.

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
