Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Effectively present and convey the company's products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.

• Identify potential sales opportunities and connect with assigned accounts.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.

• Develop, sustain, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners.

• Communicate with dealer partners via phone or in person regarding ongoing programs.

• Train dealers on Western Funding processes, including the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.

• Increase the number of funded deals by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Identify, onboard, and foster growth with dealers in the local area.

• Report directly to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• College degree or relevant work experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors.

• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is essential.

• 1–2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven success record.

• Clear and effective presentation abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and various sales techniques.

• Strong computer skills and adaptability to emerging technologies.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory; driving is an essential function, and alternative transportation is not permissible.

• Comfortable with remote work and travel.
