Area Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Effectively present and communicate the company's products and services to all levels of management within independent and franchise dealerships in person.

• Identify sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from telephone calls for independent and franchise dealers.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance relationships with current and potential dealer partners.

• Engage with dealer partners via phone or in-person regarding current programs.

• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding and the necessary documentation for swift funding of contracts.

• Enhance the number of funded deals by collaborating with appropriate dealers.

• Identify, onboard, and foster growth with dealers within the designated local region.

• Report directly to Regional Sales Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the US.

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree or relevant work experience is preferred.

• 1–2 years of prior experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated record of success.

• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is preferred.

• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales fields.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.

• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies.

• Strong and effective presentation capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit auto dealers.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
