This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide coverage and assistance across various geographies within a designated Area according to business priorities, territory requirements, absences, and market opportunities.
• Report directly to the Executive Regional Director of Sales and collaborate closely with Regional Directors.
• Represent Gilead's HIV Prevention portfolio to healthcare providers and key stakeholders.
• Drive business outcomes through strategic account management, clinical expertise, and a customer-focused approach.
• Develop and implement territory business plans.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and key stakeholders.
• Enhance patient access and optimize product usage through account planning and customer engagement.
• Meet or surpass sales goals while adapting to evolving market conditions and territory assignments.
• Utilize customer insights, market intelligence, and business analytics to shape territory strategy.
• Provide clinical, product, and disease-state information to healthcare providers.
• Convey complex scientific and clinical information to varied audiences.
• Maintain expertise in therapeutic areas, disease states, treatment guidelines, and competitive landscapes.
• Deliver compliant, precise, and balanced product and clinical information.
• Monitor emerging clinical data, healthcare trends, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with Medical Scientists, Field Reimbursement Managers, Market Access colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate account strategies and support patient access, acquisition, administration, and operational needs.
• Share field insights and customer feedback to enhance engagement and patient outcomes.
• Adhere to Gilead policies, the PhRMA Code, OIG guidance, and relevant regulations.
• Report adverse events, product complaints, and other necessary information.
• Document customer interactions and business activities in required systems.
• Manage territory resources, budgets, expenses, and administrative duties.
• Prioritize activities across changing geographic assignments.
• Support multiple territories and business needs throughout the Area.
• Pursue continuous professional development and enhance commercial, scientific, and healthcare market knowledge.
• Promote inclusion, belonging, and health equity through respectful interactions.
• High School diploma with nine years of experience, OR an Associate's Degree with seven years of experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with five years of experience, OR a Master's Degree with three years of experience.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including regular travel within the assigned area across different geographies.
• Anticipate 70-80% travel.
• Fulfillment of applicable healthcare practitioner onsite visitation requirements, which may include vaccinations, drug tests, and background screenings.
• Capability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales is preferred.
• Proven selling skills in highly competitive markets are preferred.
• Established and consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives is preferred.
• Successful performance and collaborative leadership with account-focused cross-functional local teams is preferred.
• Experience in selling injectable physician-administered products is preferred.
• Familiarity with the managed care landscape is preferred.
• Experience in selling a Buy and Bill product with a proven sales record is preferred.
• Experience managing a multi-product portfolio is preferred.
