Area Manager – LPD, Livestock, Poultry & Dairy Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with nurturing and developing relationships with our current customers while also pursuing new business opportunities.

• Your role will involve translating the regional sales strategy into key accounts and managing the sales of your designated portfolio, taking responsibility for commercial outcomes.

• Anticipate traveling 60% of the time while working from home 40% of the time.

• You will implement our sales strategy, identify new opportunities and leads, and produce sales reports.

• Collaboration with marketing field specialists and technical services will be essential to provide our existing and prospective clients with insights into the IDEXX experience and best practices in disease management.

• Staying informed about both Governmental and Non-Governmental disease control and eradication initiatives is crucial in this position.

• Proven track record in consultative sales and account management.

• High comfort level with both outbound and inbound sales activities, integrating account strategy with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, encompassing writing, listening, and questioning abilities.

• Strong business acumen.

• Capability to engage and establish relationships with C-level executives.

• Documented success in sales.

• Proficient negotiation skills to enhance business growth and increase value for our customers and IDEXX.

• Strong interpersonal abilities to quickly establish rapport and foster lasting relationships.

• Ability to comprehend and convey technical information regarding testing and testing programs.

• Highly driven and goal-oriented.

• Robust organizational skills, particularly in a multitasking environment within an international matrixed organization.

• Effective time management skills to achieve desired business results.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in computer applications (CRM, Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook).

• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is mandatory.

• A background in veterinary science, dairy farming, or a degree in any life sciences field would be advantageous.

• Fluency in business English is essential; proficiency in a second language would be a plus.
