This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.
• Perform preparatory or auxiliary activities to enhance Hunter's business within a designated territory.
• Gather and share business progress updates with the regional team and higher-level management.
• Provide training, education, and support for specification activities targeting contractors, distributors, designers, and government entities.
• Optimize Hunter's visibility and success in the market.
• Generate demand for Hunter products across various levels to meet distribution objectives.
• Serve as a local liaison and recommend changes in distribution when necessary.
• Keep management informed about events, developments, and relevant information in the territory.
• Notify management of potential customer credit issues and suggest adjustments to credit limits.
• Oversee an individual budget and manage expenditures within allocated limits.
• Implement customer training programs, trade shows, and promotional events.
• Build relationships with irrigation consultants, landscape architects, municipalities, and local government agencies.
• Meet with stakeholders to present Hunter products and their features for project specifications.
• Provide field service and support as needed.
• Advise on warranty policies and procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assist in gathering data for forecasts and market data reports.
• Travel as required to achieve objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree in business administration, marketing, landscape architecture, or 5 years of relevant industry and technical experience.
• At least five years of professional experience in business management, installation, or technical support within the irrigation sector.
• Familiarity with commercial channels, pricing, marketing, and distribution models in the industry.
• Strong specification and presentation skills, with a proven ability to meet objectives.
• Capability to articulate the features and advantages of Hunter products.
• Experience in conducting training and educational sessions.
• Technical knowledge of both company and competitor products.
• Ability to perform field service, troubleshoot irrigation systems, and suggest solutions.
• Understanding of financial and budgeting procedures.
• Proficient in preparing budgets and managing expenses within set limits.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English or regional languages.
• Capacity to establish and maintain positive working relationships while providing excellent customer service and support.
• Willingness to travel frequently, reside in a strategic location within the territory, and work flexible hours.
• Basic computer skills in Windows programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance standards.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.
• Fluency in languages commonly spoken in the region.
• Awareness of regional business and cultural practices.
• Irrigation Association (IA) Level II certification, with additional Level III certifications preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
