This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.
• Engage in activities that support the development of Hunter’s business within a designated territory.
• Gather and relay relevant information regarding business progress to the regional team and upper management.
• Provide training, education, and product specifications to contractors, distributors, designers, and governmental bodies.
• Enhance Hunter’s visibility and success while driving demand for Hunter products.
• Serve as a local liaison and suggest distribution adjustments as needed.
• Update management on occurrences in the territory, customer credit issues, and possible credit-line modifications.
• Oversee personal budget and expenditures, obtaining approval for items beyond the approved budget.
• Implement customer training initiatives, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Cultivate relationships with irrigation consultants, landscape architects, municipalities, and local government entities.
• Meet with stakeholders to detail Hunter products and features relevant to project specifications.
• Provide field service support and advise on warranty policies in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation of forecasts and market data reports.
• Travel as necessary to achieve objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree in business administration, marketing, landscape architecture, or five years of equivalent industry and technical experience.
• At least five years of professional experience in business management, installation, or technical support within the irrigation sector.
• Familiarity with commercial channels, pricing, marketing, and distribution models in the industry.
• Proficient specification and presentation skills, with a proven track record of achieving goals.
• Capability to articulate the features and advantages of Hunter products.
• Competence in conducting training and educational sessions.
• Technical understanding of both company and competitor products.
• Ability to perform field service, troubleshoot irrigation systems, and propose solutions.
• Knowledge of finance and budgeting practices.
• Skill in preparing budgets and managing expenses within allocated limits.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English or regional languages.
• Capacity to establish and maintain positive working relationships while delivering exceptional customer service and support.
• Willingness to travel extensively, reside in a strategic location within the territory, and maintain flexible hours.
• Basic computer proficiency using Windows programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance criteria.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a valid passport.
• Fluency in languages commonly spoken in the region.
• Understanding of regional business and cultural norms.
• Preferred: Irrigation Association (IA) Level II certification, with additional Level III certifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
