This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a member of the Sales team, reporting directly to the designated Area Sales Director.
• Oversee sales and customer support within the designated territory.
• Achieve the sales targets set for the assigned territory.
• Build and nurture relationships with physician clients and hospital staff.
• Provide regional support as necessary to meet growth objectives.
• Identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential by account.
• Set and accomplish annual sales targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics based on product offerings, competitive landscape, and pricing requirements.
• Analyze the territory to pinpoint key target accounts.
• Monitor competitor activities and gather up-to-date market information.
• Collaborate on contracts, pricing, and vendor documentation needed for hospital and institutional clients.
• Execute launch strategies created by the Vice President of Sales.
• Conduct product introductions and in-service training for clients.
• Maintain clinical and technical knowledge through training, workshops, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
• Prepare and present reports to sales management using territory sales data, customer insights, and sales forecasts.
• Communicate effectively with all levels within hospitals and Scientia leadership.
• Adhere to company policies, hospital/institutional guidelines, and advised standards for compliance and professional behavior.
• Utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's Degree or a Healthcare Degree (such as NP, RN, or RT).
• A minimum of five years of sales experience in the medical device sector, particularly in interventional devices, preferably within the neurovascular field.
• Alternatively, at least five years of experience in a clinical environment involving interventional peripheral vascular or neurovascular devices may suffice.
• Proficient in using CRM tools; experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Must fulfill all credentialing requirements for access to specific hospitals/institutions within the assigned region/territory and keep up-to-date with both overall and account-specific requirements.
• Credentialing requirements include checks for criminal background, drug screening, and national sex offender registry.
• Must have authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including background checks with MVR and drug tests.
• Residence in the Houston Territory is required.
