This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Operate within the Sales division, reporting directly to the designated Area Sales Director.
• Oversee sales and customer support within the assigned territory.
• Achieve the sales targets established for the territory.
• Cultivate relationships with physician clients and hospital staff.
• Provide support to the region as necessary to meet growth objectives.
• Identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential for each account.
• Set and meet annual sales targets.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies and tactics in relation to products, competition, and pricing requirements.
• Analyze the territory to pinpoint key target accounts.
• Track competitive activities and gather up-to-date market information.
• Collaborate with the Area Sales Director regarding contracts, pricing, and vendor documentation needs.
• Execute launch strategies as outlined by the Vice President of Sales.
• Conduct product introductions and customer in-services.
• Continuously enhance clinical, technical, and business acumen.
• Prepare and present reports to sales management utilizing territory sales data, customer information, and sales forecasts.
• Effectively communicate with hospital personnel and Scientia leadership.
• Adhere to company, hospital/institution, and Advised guidelines related to compliance and professional conduct.
• Exercise independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor's Degree or a Healthcare Degree (such as NP, RN, or RT).
• A minimum of five years of sales experience in the medical device industry, particularly with interventional devices and ideally within the neurovascular sector.
• If lacking prior interventional sales experience, at least five years of relevant clinical experience involving interventional peripheral vascular or neurovascular devices is required.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools; experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Must fulfill all credentialing requirements for access to specific hospitals/institutions in the assigned region/territory and maintain current status with both overall and account-specific requirements.
• Credentialing requirements include checks for criminal background, drug screening, and national sex offender registry.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must pass standard pre-employment screenings, including a background check with MVR and drug test.
• Residency in the Maryland, DC, Virginia Territory is required.
