This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Function as a vital member of the Sales team, reporting directly to the designated Area Sales Director.
• Propel sales and enhance customer support within the designated territory.
• Achieve the established sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Cultivate relationships with physician clients and hospital staff.
• Provide regional support as necessary to meet growth objectives.
• Identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential for each account.
• Set and fulfill annual sales goals.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies and tactics tailored to products, competitive landscape, and pricing needs.
• Analyze the territory to pinpoint key target accounts.
• Keep track of competitive actions and collect marketplace intelligence.
• Work collaboratively on contracts, pricing, and vendor documentation for hospital and institutional clients.
• Execute launch strategies created by the Vice President of Sales.
• Deliver product introductions and customer training sessions.
• Continue to enhance clinical, technical, and business knowledge through training, workshops, publications, networking, and professional associations.
• Prepare and submit reports to sales management by analyzing territory sales, customer data, and sales forecasts.
• Effectively communicate with all levels within hospitals and Scientia leadership.
• Adhere to company, hospital/institution, and industry guidelines for compliance and professional conduct.
• Utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or a healthcare-related degree (such as NP, RN, or RT).
• A minimum of five years of sales experience in the medical device sector, particularly with interventional devices, ideally in the neurovascular field.
• Alternatively, at least five years of experience in a clinical environment dealing with interventional peripheral vascular or neurovascular devices.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM tools; familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to fulfill all credentialing requirements for access to specific hospitals/institutions in the designated region/territory and maintain compliance with overall and account-specific stipulations.
• Credentialing requirements encompass criminal background checks, drug screenings, and national sex offender registry verifications.
• Must have authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Capable of passing standard pre-employment screenings, including background checks with MVR and drug tests.
• Residence within the Philadelphia Territory is required.
