This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee the daily operations of multiple Air Methods bases located in Southern New Mexico.
• Ensure all bases are operational, maintain safety standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Cultivate a positive and engaged local base culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
• Communicate effectively with base personnel regarding operational efficiency, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize profit contributions.
• Manage and oversee profit and loss (P&L), expenses, and payroll for the assigned bases.
• Schedule base staff to guarantee 100% coverage, enhance in-service rates, and reduce overtime.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and Business Development to ensure compliance with policies and procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, evaluate performance, and develop team members; address employee relations matters, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Supervise supply chain and logistics, including non-aviation, maintenance, clinical activities, and associated expenses.
• Coordinate maintenance planning and spare parts utilization to reduce the frequency of base out-of-service events.
• Assist the Regional Director in delivering customer scorecards and implementing action plans.
• Maintain and oversee business, medical, and other necessary licenses while ensuring compliance with discipline-specific regulations.
• Facilitate base startups, relocations, and closures in conjunction with regional leadership.
• Manage facility repairs, maintenance, and leasing agreements.
• Directly supervise employees in the assigned area/region, including hiring, training, task assignments, performance evaluations, rewards, disciplinary actions, complaint resolution, and problem-solving.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in clinical, aviation, or maintenance environments with a strong leadership background and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Availability for operational requirements on a 24/7 basis.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 70% or more as business needs dictate.
• Consistent attendance is a fundamental aspect of this position.

• Excellent organizational capabilities, keen attention to detail, proficiency in multitasking, and meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in managing revenue and budgets.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive written reports.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must adhere to applicable DOT and Non-DOT random and reasonable suspicion regulations.
• No specific certificates, licenses, or registrations are required.
