This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Oversee the daily operations of several Air Methods bases throughout Nebraska.
• Ensure that the bases are operational, prioritize safety, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Foster an engaged and optimal local-base culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
• Communicate effectively with base personnel regarding operational efficiency, responsibilities, and performance standards.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance profit contributions.
• Manage and oversee profit and loss (P&L), expenses, and payroll for the assigned bases.
• Schedule base personnel to guarantee complete coverage, optimize in-service rates, and limit overtime.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and Business Development to ensure adherence to policies and procedures while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, manage performance, develop team members, and address employee relations issues, including terminations.
• Coach and exemplify appropriate leadership behaviors.
• Oversee supply chain and logistics requirements, encompassing non-aviation, maintenance, and clinical activities and expenses.
• Coordinate with maintenance leadership regarding maintenance events and spare parts utilization.
• Assist the Regional Director with customer scorecards and implement action plans.
• Maintain and oversee business, medical, and other necessary licenses.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and non-DOT random and reasonable suspicion protocols.
• Coordinate the initiation, relocation, and closure of bases.
• Supervise facility repairs, maintenance, and lease management.
• Directly manage employees in the assigned area, including hiring, training, work assignments, performance evaluations, discipline, complaint resolutions, and problem-solving.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in clinical, aviation, or maintenance roles with a strong leadership background and/or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution is preferred.
• Availability 24/7 for operational needs.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% or more based on business requirements.
• Strong leadership experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration across all levels.
• Exceptional critical-thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; capacity to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in managing revenue and budgets.
• Capability to prepare written reports.
• Proven leadership track record.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must adhere to applicable company policies and discipline-specific DOT and non-DOT regulations.
