Area HR Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic HR Business Partner for leaders and staff within the Central Europe Marketing division.

• Convert business objectives into people strategies that enhance organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and sustainable business growth.

• Oversee the annual people agenda, which encompasses performance management, talent assessments, succession planning, reward initiatives, and employee engagement programs.

• Execute global and regional HR priorities while tailoring solutions to meet local needs.

• Collaborate with leaders on organizational changes, workforce planning, impact evaluations, stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and implementation processes.

• Assist in organizational development efforts to improve team effectiveness, workforce capabilities, and talent preparedness.

• Utilize workforce analytics and organizational insights to spot trends, mitigate risks, and offer actionable recommendations.

• Manage intricate employee relations issues throughout Germany, including contract modifications, organizational shifts, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, absence management, and employee separations.

• Work alongside Centres of Excellence and HR partners such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reward, Payroll, and HR Services.

• Provide expertise on German labor laws, employee relations, and HR governance.

• Foster partnerships with employee representative groups and facilitate consultation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in HR Business Partnering, HR Advisory, HR Generalist, or similar people-centric roles within a complex, international matrix organization.

• Deep understanding of German individual and collective labor laws.

• Experience collaborating with commercial, marketing, or customer-facing teams.

• Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, performance management, talent development, succession planning, rewards, employee relations, and offboarding processes.

• Experience working with employee representative bodies, shared service environments, and specialized HR teams is highly desirable.

• Background in supporting organizational changes, transformation initiatives, employee engagement programs, or talent strategies is advantageous.

• Excellent stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong consulting and advisory skills.

• Exceptional case management skills.

• Superior communication skills in both German and English.

• Resilient, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced environment.

• Data-driven with analytical skills to convert workforce insights into actionable strategies.

• Strong collaboration skills across functions and international teams.

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a relevant field.

• Additional qualifications in German labor law, employee relations, HR management, organizational development, or coaching are highly desirable.

• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
