This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Manage the administration of employee benefits, which includes health, dental, vision, retirement, voluntary benefits, PTO, and AMC-specific programs.
β’ Ensure proper management, reporting, and compliance related to ACA benefits.
β’ Oversee employee leave programs, such as FMLA, state paid leave, ADA-related leave, and coordination of workersβ compensation.
β’ Conduct benefit orientation sessions for both full-time and part-time employees who are eligible for benefits.
β’ Provide assistance to employees regarding benefits enrollment, inquiries, and problem resolution.
β’ Maintain the Paycom HRIS, ensuring accurate employee data, reporting capabilities, and system performance.
β’ Prepare, process, and monitor Personnel Action Forms for employment transitions.
β’ Act as a backup for payroll processing duties.
β’ Compile and analyze HR reports for compliance, audits, and workforce analytics.
β’ Collaborate with managers on employee relations topics, investigations, and conflict resolution.
β’ Offer guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
β’ Supervise assigned HR team members, focusing on prioritization, training, coaching, development, and performance management.
β’ Assist with pre-boarding and onboarding, ensuring completion of necessary new-hire documentation.
β’ Update and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and standard operating procedures.
β’ Track changes in employment law and implement updates to policies and processes.
β’ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
β’ Prepare and manage EEOC reporting.
β’ Support recruitment and talent management efforts.
β’ Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
β’ Report directly to the HR Director.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR is required.
β’ Experience in benefits administration is essential.
β’ Proficiency in HRIS management is necessary.
β’ Background in employee relations is important.
β’ Strong knowledge of ACA compliance and payroll processes is required.
β’ Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Capability to operate independently with minimal direction or oversight.
β’ Proven strategic thinking and practical problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
β’ Familiarity with Paycom HRIS is preferred.
β’ Must reside in the New England area to attend annual meetings.
β’ Submission of a resume and a letter of interest is required.
β’ A satisfactory annual criminal background check is mandatory for employees working in programs or facilities serving children, disabled persons, or the elderly.
