This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the designated geographic market within the Foodservice Field Sales organization.
• Enhance branded market share and profitability in accordance with Kraft Heinz values.
• Implement all aspects of the Foodservice ADM playbook.
• Create and execute profitable sales strategies with local distributors.
• Collaborate with brokers and provide assistance to foodservice operators as needed.
• Establish and nurture distributor relationships.
• Support local events and initiatives.
• Promote the penetration of high-priority SKUs.
• Identify and oversee a pipeline of high-value sales opportunities.
• Work in conjunction with Sales Operations Planning, Finance, and Supply teams.
• Manage bottom-up sales planning for the territory.
• Develop data-driven proposals tailored to customer needs and market insights.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from generating interest to closing deals.
• Achieve and surpass assigned revenue targets.
• Manage distributor trade budgets, business expenses, and travel costs.
• Execute quarterly and annual sales and marketing objectives, including product launches and limited-time offers.
• Forecast product demand and submit Volume Submission Forms (VSFs).
• Set up and review Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with distributors.
• Assist with the Order to Cash process by supporting distributor orders.
• Address invoice discrepancies and manage payment-related issues.
• Engage directly with customers, distributors, and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 to 3 years of sales experience, ideally in foodservice, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or a related sector.
• Strong preference for prior experience in managing distributor relationships and working with foodservice operators.
• Beneficial experience in direct sales, account management, or business development within the foodservice or hospitality industry.
• Capability to analyze sales data, market trends, and financial reports.
• Proficient in developing and executing sales plans, including joint business plans (JBPs) and demand forecasting.
• Strong business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities with distributors, brokers, operators, and key decision-makers.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, supply chain, finance, and sales operations teams.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, order-to-cash processes, and invoice resolution in a foodservice context.
• Understanding of pricing structures, rebates, and contracts in a distributor-based sales model.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Ability to adapt selling strategies to virtual platforms including MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and FaceTime.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.
• Availability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Ability to conduct regular domestic travel within the assigned geographic territory.
