This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the formulation and execution of revenue management and commercial strategy initiatives across various properties within the portfolio.
• Perform regular performance evaluations and analyses of key performance indicators to evaluate strategy effectiveness and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with property general managers, sales directors, and marketing managers on cohesive sales and marketing campaigns.
• Keep an eye on market trends, competitor pricing, and demand factors to modify pricing strategies and maximize revenue.
• Examine historical data, booking trends, and demand forecasts for decisions regarding pricing, inventory allocation, and distribution.
• Utilize revenue management systems and tools to create reports, monitor performance metrics, and discover revenue optimization opportunities.
• Build and sustain relationships with online travel agencies, global distribution systems, and other distribution partners.
• Work alongside property teams to negotiate and oversee contracts with group clients, corporate accounts, and other significant revenue-generating accounts.
• Monitor emerging trends, industry advancements, and technological innovations to integrate relevant insights into area-wide initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in hotel revenue management and the development of commercial strategies, with a track record of leadership or managerial success.
• Experience in managing revenue strategy for multiple properties or regions within a hotel or hospitality group is essential.
• Familiarity with the Columbus market is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Hilton and Marriott revenue management systems is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to interpret complex data, identify trends, and generate actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in revenue management software, commercial strategy tools, and CRM systems.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities focused on revenue growth and business objectives.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Adaptability to changing market conditions and business priorities.
• Understanding of industry regulations, revenue management principles, and best practices in commercial strategy.
• Previous experience in a diverse and multicultural hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to implement complex initiatives within set timelines and budget constraints.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• An advanced degree or professional certification in revenue management or commercial strategy is preferred.
