This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the creation and execution of revenue management and commercial strategy initiatives across various properties in the portfolio.
• Perform regular evaluations and analyses of key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine the effectiveness of strategies and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Work collaboratively with property general managers, sales directors, and marketing managers on integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor pricing, and demand factors to refine pricing strategies and maximize revenue.
• Examine historical data, booking trends, and demand forecasts to inform pricing, inventory allocation, and distribution choices.
• Utilize revenue management systems and tools to generate reports, monitor performance metrics, and discover revenue optimization prospects.
• Build and sustain relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and other distribution partners.
• Work with property teams to negotiate and manage contracts with group clients, corporate accounts, and other significant revenue-generating accounts.
• Integrate relevant industry, technology, and revenue management trends into area-wide initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in hotel revenue management and commercial strategy development, with a track record of leadership or managerial success required.
• Experience overseeing revenue strategy for multiple properties or regions within a hotel or hospitality group is required.
• Familiarity with the Columbus market is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Hilton and Marriott revenue management systems is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret complex data, recognize trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in revenue management software, commercial strategy tools, and CRM systems.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills focused on revenue growth and business objectives.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate teams.
• Adaptability to changing market conditions and priorities.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, revenue management principles, and best practices in commercial strategy.
• Previous experience in a diverse and multicultural hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to implement complex initiatives within established timelines and budget constraints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• An advanced degree or professional certification in revenue management or commercial strategy is preferred.
