This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Drive the commercial success of a portfolio comprising midscale and upper midscale franchised hotels.
• Act as a strategic commercial consultant for hotel owners, operators, and management firms.
• Identify potential revenue streams and performance enhancement initiatives utilizing hotel, portfolio, and market analytics.
• Conduct property inspections, performance assessments, and business consultations.
• Develop and advocate for the implementation of strategic commercial action plans aimed at enhancing RevPAR, market share, ADR, occupancy, revenue growth, and profitability for owners.
• Assess market demand, competitive positioning, business composition, pricing strategies, distribution efficiency, and sales performance.
• Analyze trends in performance, pace reports, demand influencers, channel contributions, competitive insights, and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and hotel leadership on pricing, inventory, forecasting, and segment strategies.
• Monitor commercial dashboards and performance metrics; identify risks and modify strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate specialized support from Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution, Brand, and Operations teams.
• Boost engagement and participation in proprietary revenue-generating programs and initiatives.
• Transform intricate operational and financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Lead regular performance discussions with hotel owners, management companies, and property leadership teams.
• Document commitments, action items, strategic decisions, performance plans, and interactions with ownership.
• Provide leadership with insights on revenue performance, owner engagement, competitive threats, and emerging business risks.
• Maintain precise documentation and submit timely and accurate expense reports.
• Support franchise growth, retention initiatives, franchise associations, industry activities, special projects, and organizational goals.
• Must currently reside in Louisiana; relocation assistance is not available.
• At least fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in the hotel industry with substantial responsibility for commercial strategy, revenue performance, sales, marketing, revenue management, or multi-property performance enhancement.
• A minimum of ten (10) years in hotel leadership roles, preferably encompassing franchise performance, revenue management, commercial leadership, or multi-unit operational responsibilities.
• Proven track record of improving hotel commercial performance, including revenue growth, RevPAR, market share, and owner profitability.
• Established ability to influence business decisions through analytical insights and strategic advice.
• Experience operating effectively within a matrixed organization and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
• Strong analytical capabilities, forecasting skills, and financial acumen.
• Familiarity with hotel performance and business intelligence tools, including revenue, financial, market share, and benchmarking platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets and convert findings into practical business recommendations.
• Knowledge of hotel revenue management principles, sales activation strategies, distribution channels, marketing performance, loyalty programs, and profitability metrics.
• Outstanding consulting, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strong executive presence and effective communication skills with hotel owners and senior leaders.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities while overseeing a geographically dispersed portfolio.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and adjust priorities in a dynamic business landscape.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Regular travel of around 70% is required.
• Must be able to travel independently within the assigned territory.
