Area Continuous Improvement Leader

📋 Description

• Lead ongoing enhancement initiatives across various manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment of projects with business objectives and operational priorities.

• Collaborate with plant leadership to formulate and implement strategic improvement plans that yield measurable outcomes.

• Propel advancements in safety, quality, productivity, reliability, energy efficiency, and cost performance.

• Identify, implement, and maintain cost reduction opportunities while monitoring financial impacts and ensuring accountability.

• Analyze operational data to uncover opportunities, resolve issues, and guarantee the sustainability of improvement actions.

• Mentor leaders and teams on continuous improvement methodologies while cultivating a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

• Enhance the utilization of GMF across designated factories.

• Develop problem-solving capabilities and bolster process discipline across multiple locations.

• Disseminate best practices and maintain results through metrics and accountability.

• Collaborate with plant leadership teams and functional partners to elevate factory performance and continuous improvement maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required.

• At least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, continuous improvement, or a related field, ideally in a multi-site manufacturing context.

• Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives that achieve measurable results in safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, reliability, energy, and operational discipline.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, daily management systems, standard work, and waste elimination techniques.

• Experience in coaching leaders and teams to enhance continuous improvement capabilities, reinforce accountability, and sustain performance enhancements.

• Proficient in analyzing performance data, formulating strategic improvement plans, monitoring progress against commitments, and effectively communicating results to plant, area, and functional leadership.

• Familiarity with GMF or similar manufacturing operating systems is preferred.

• Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification is preferred.

• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

• 35–40% travel is required.
