This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
β’ Oversee Pfizer Cardiac Rare Disease sales initiatives within the designated U.S. region
β’ Develop and implement sales strategies for Vyndamax in line with approved indications
β’ Report directly to the US Rare Cardiac Regional Business Director
β’ Manage and guide a team of 8β9 Rare Disease Rare Cardiac Senior Health & Science Specialists
β’ Recruit, mentor, cultivate talent, and oversee performance management
β’ Collaborate with the Sales Training team to coordinate training programs
β’ Foster a high-performing organization through talent planning and career development opportunities
β’ Work in partnership with Marketing, Brand Marketing, Planning, Operations, and HQ teams to formulate customer and brand strategies
β’ Establish regional business objectives, performance indicators, integrated business plans, sales forecasts, and operational budgets
β’ Aid in the implementation of incentive compensation structures for sales representatives
β’ Build and maintain networks with physicians and industry contacts
β’ Manage account engagement, resource distribution, and cross-functional communication throughout the area
β’ Offer guidance and coaching to team members across various geographies
β’ Maintain a strong technical understanding and knowledge of market and customer trends
β’ Evaluate area performance at local market and account levels and implement processes for performance enhancement
β’ Create and execute strategies for local markets and accounts
β’ Analyze data to recognize market trends
β’ Represent the area during quarterly business reviews and manage assigned follow-up items
β’ Share insights, risks, challenges, opportunities, and best practices during team meetings
β’ Ensure compliant usage of promotional materials and sales activities
β’ Travel frequently within the assigned area and conduct regular field observations and coaching sessions
β’ Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred
β’ A minimum of 10+ years of commercial experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, including sales leadership roles
β’ Strong preference for candidates with experience and expertise in Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular
β’ At least 3 years of successful experience as a District/Area/Regional Manager is preferred
β’ Experience with product launches is preferred
β’ Preference for candidates with Hospital Sales experience
β’ Proven ability to think strategically and execute effectively to achieve results
β’ Demonstrated skill in formulating, developing, writing, communicating, and monitoring the execution of business plans
β’ Strong history of collaborative and motivational leadership, along with effective internal stakeholder management skills
β’ Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
β’ Permanent work authorization in the United States is required
