This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
β’ Lead sales initiatives for Pfizer Cardiac Rare Disease within the designated area of the United States.
β’ Develop and implement sales strategies for Vyndamax in accordance with approved indications.
β’ Report directly to the US Rare Cardiac Regional Business Director.
β’ Oversee and guide a team of 8β9 Rare Disease Rare Cardiac Senior Health & Science Specialists/field representatives.
β’ Recruit, mentor, and manage talent while evaluating performance.
β’ Collaborate with the Sales training team to ensure effective training programs are in place.
β’ Foster a high-performing organization through strategic talent planning and career development.
β’ Work alongside marketing and cross-functional teams to develop brand/customer strategies and stimulate demand.
β’ Assist in the annual Operating Planning and Tactical Planning processes.
β’ Establish area business objectives, performance metrics, and comprehensive compliant business plans.
β’ Ensure achievement of sales forecasts and operational budgets.
β’ Aid in the implementation of the sales representative incentive compensation structure.
β’ Cultivate physician and industry contact networks to enhance sales leads and success.
β’ Oversee customer engagement, resource allocation, and internal coordination throughout the geographical area.
β’ Provide coaching and guidance to team members across various geographies.
β’ Maintain technical knowledge and address product, policy, and business inquiries.
β’ Track market and customer trends and guide brand messaging accordingly.
β’ Assess area business performance and introduce processes to expedite results.
β’ Formulate and implement local market and account strategies.
β’ Analyze data to identify emerging market trends.
β’ Represent the area business at Quarterly Business Reviews and manage assigned action items.
β’ Share insights, risks, issues, opportunities, and best practices during team meetings.
β’ Cultivate a culture of trust and collaboration.
β’ Ensure the compliant use of promotional materials and effective selling activities.
β’ Adhere to Pfizer corporate policies and standards of business conduct.
β’ Extensive travel within the designated area is required.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 10+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical commercial roles, including sales leadership.
β’ Strong preference for candidates with Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular experience and expertise.
β’ Preferred experience includes a minimum of 3 years in a District/Area/Regional Manager role.
β’ Experience with product launches is preferred.
β’ Hospital sales experience is preferred.
β’ Proven ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly to achieve results.
β’ Demonstrated capability to formulate, develop, write, communicate, and monitor the execution of business plans.
β’ Strong history of collaborative and motivational leadership along with effective internal stakeholder management skills.
β’ Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S. by any employer.
β’ Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
β’ U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
