This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and oversee a team of 9–12 representatives within the Neuroscience and Cardiovascular portfolios.
• Set team objectives, uphold performance benchmarks, and manage instances of underperformance.
• Foster a team culture centered on engagement, morale, and continuous improvement.
• Utilize situational leadership and various coaching methods across live, virtual, and hybrid formats.
• Create and execute strategic business plans that align with both national and regional priorities.
• Hold accountability for area-level budget management and supervise resource allocation.
• Analyze market data to identify trends, evaluate stakeholders, and predict business changes.
• Oversee promotional materials and assess field execution in relation to the established plan.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team during the Operational Planning process.
• Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, large group practices, hospitals, and managed care organizations.
• Conduct credible, science-based conversations with customers regarding Migraine and NVAF/VTE portfolios.
• Recognize opportunities for key account development.
• Connect healthcare service providers with channel and HQ partners to meet complex customer needs.
• Guide representatives on how to incorporate digital tools and cross-functional colleagues into customer interactions.
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and Pfizer policy standards.
• Utilize digital tools, sales data, and reporting software to refine strategies and resource allocation.
• Report to the Regional Business Director while collaborating with Marketing, Channel, and HQ partners.
• Travel throughout the area, including expected overnight trips, and participate in area and national meetings.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales is required.
• At least 3–5 years of proven leadership experience with peer and customer groups is necessary.
• Preferred experience in engaging key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record that complies with company standards is essential.
• Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify candidates.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred experience of 5+ years in people management.
• Specialty sales experience and therapeutic knowledge are strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills in virtual communication are necessary.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities are required.
• Capacity to interpret sales data and utilize reporting applications is essential.
• Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking and precise execution are necessary.
• Strong collaborative, motivational leadership, and internal stakeholder management skills are required.
• Excellent facilitation skills are essential.
• Ability to travel across all representative territories within the area is necessary.
• Attendance at area and national meetings is mandatory.
