Area Business Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor team members in the designated area

• Exhibit capabilities in solution coaching

• Guide Diagnostic Sales Consultants and Diagnostic Technical Specialists to achieve management goals

• Recruit, coach, assess, distinguish, and retain high-performing talent

• Allocate 75% of available time to field-coaching activities

• Spearhead the introduction of new products, services, and equipment

• Achieve or surpass sales objectives and key performance indicators for the Diagnostics business

• Formulate annual strategic business plans for specific territories and the overall region

• Coordinate and distribute marketing resources efficiently

• Manage operating expenses, performance management, performance evaluations, and reporting responsibilities

• Participate in new product launches and regional/area sales meetings

• Engage in special projects and undertake additional tasks as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership/management role

• Strong communication, interpersonal, business management, and computer skills

• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment and build/manage relationships at all organizational levels

• Capacity to navigate highly dynamic, complex, and ever-evolving environments

• Utilize analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution throughout the area

• Competence in managing assigned expense budgets

• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine

• Preferred experience in diagnostics

• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make thoughtful, equitable decisions

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn Zoetis systems

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-60%)

• All candidates must possess or be able to obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis
