This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare project estimates by reviewing and analyzing RFPs, blueprints, specifications, and other pertinent documentation.
• Develop comprehensive and precise cost estimates that encompass labor and materials.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) for the projects assigned.
• Identify potential risks associated with scope, cost, manufacturability, and installation, and communicate findings effectively.
• Gather and analyze data to address discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of estimates.
• Obtain and assess quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Complete bid forms, qualifications, and supporting documentation in accordance with the RFP.
• Present estimates and cost strategies during bid reviews and production meetings.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal teams, clients, architects, designers, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct ongoing research on labor costs, materials, and industry trends to enhance estimating precision.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge through training, industry resources, and professional development.
• An associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction is preferred.
• Strong comprehension of construction principles and the ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
