Architectural Draftsperson, Revit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Participate in the conceptual and schematic design stages.

• Offer innovative ideas and create design solutions that cater to client requirements and project objectives.

• Create comprehensive architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, utilizing Revit, Archicad, or SketchUp.

• Ensure all drawings adhere to applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

• Develop and manage project documentation, encompassing construction details, material specifications, and technical reports.

• Collaborate and communicate with both internal teams and external consultants through remote communication platforms.

• Attend virtual meetings, design evaluations, and discussions.

• Work with local team members to ensure design intent aligns with engineering, structural, and other disciplines.

• Efficiently manage workload to meet project timelines and deliver design outputs and documentation punctually.

• Engage in project quality control, reviewing work for precision, completeness, and consistency.

• Deliver innovative design solutions, technical drawings, and project documentation.

• Confirm that work meets client specifications, project timelines, and pertinent building codes and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.

• Registration as an Architect is highly valued.

• At least 6 years of architectural experience is required.

• Experience in multi-residential projects is essential; experience in retail, commercial, and hotel sectors is highly regarded.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience on projects located within Australia.

• Strong expertise in Revit is essential.

• Proficiency in Archicad is desirable but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with BIM practices is a plus.

• Comprehensive understanding of Australian construction techniques, materials, and building regulations.

• Ability to generate high-quality technical drawings and details.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Capability to work efficiently in a remote setting using tools such as Microsoft Teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Willingness to work within time zones that align with the practice's operational hours.
