Architectural Design Coordinator – EV Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and planning of facilities for electric vehicle operations.

• Create architectural drawings, studies, and documentation for schematic design and initial project development.

• Generate site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, diagrams, and other deliverables under the guidance of the Project Architect.

• Aid in space planning, test fits, site layouts, and facility planning studies.

• Convert design concepts and project requirements into precise drawing deliverables.

• Integrate project and client feedback into drawings and models.

• Tailor established design standards and prototypes to specific EV portfolio projects.

• Construct and maintain accurate Revit models throughout the design phase.

• Produce 3D views, diagrams, and visual materials to effectively communicate design.

• Ensure consistency between Revit models and drawing documentation.

• Develop and utilize Revit families, components, and standardized content.

• Detect modeling or coordination issues and relay them to the Project Architect.

• Promote efficient and repeatable BIM and design production workflows across various projects.

• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.

• A minimum of 3 years of architectural experience.

• Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam.

• Experience in producing architectural drawings and BIM models.

• Knowledge of architectural design, building systems, and construction documentation.

• High attention to detail and capability to deliver precise work.

• Ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in designing for EV, automotive, industrial, mission-critical, or prototype facilities is preferred.

• Licensed Architect or in the process of obtaining licensure is preferred.

• Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies is preferred.

• Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.

• Experience with Miro is preferred.
