Architect Drafter – Interior Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create precise floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, and millwork details utilizing drafting software.

• Transform designer sketches, space-planning concepts, and mood boards into cohesive construction drawing sets.

• Specify and document interior finishes, furniture arrangements, fixtures, and hardware specifications.

• Revise drawing sets based on design modifications, client input, and site-condition adjustments.

• Collaborate with general contractors, MEP consultants, and vendors.

• Ensure that interior layouts and structural changes comply with local building codes, safety standards, and accessibility regulations.

• Prepare drawings based on provided plans and sketches.

• Deliver timely updates regarding drawing progress and workload management.

• Oversee the department's daily workflow and output, prioritizing and assigning tasks.

• Ensure completed projects meet client and project specifications.

• Perform additional job-related responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English: upper-intermediate, advanced, or proficient level.

• Strong and verified background in engineering or architecture, with relevant experience.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Lumion.

• 2 to 4 years of practical experience in mechanical drafting or HVAC design.

• High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, along with 3D rendering software such as SketchUp.

• A strong portfolio showcasing technical interior drawing sets, elevations, and detailed joinery.

• In-depth knowledge of interior construction techniques, materials, and standard joinery details.

• Exceptional spatial awareness, mathematical precision, and organizational capabilities.

• Experience and proficiency in drafting using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.

• Professional demeanor and ethical conduct.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to communicate and relay information effectively between specialized teams.

• Ability to self-manage tasks and maintain detailed records of activities, notes, and process updates.

• Competence in identifying, establishing, and assigning priorities.

• Capability to follow directives or specific instructions when required.

• Personal computer (laptop/desktop) with internet connectivity.

• Comfortable utilizing Hubstaff time-tracking software.

• Available to present a portfolio or sample projects.

• Eligible to work remotely from El Salvador.
