AR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate and distribute invoices to clients for products and services provided.

• Receive and document customer payments via checks, credit card transactions, and electronic funds transfers.

• Allocate payments to customer accounts and ensure proper distribution.

• Assess customer creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits.

• Monitor delinquent accounts and engage with customers to secure outstanding payments.

• Reconcile incoming payments with pending invoices and address any discrepancies.

• Analyze accounts receivable aging reports for financial insights.

• Foster and sustain positive relationships with customers by addressing questions and resolving payment-related issues.

• Collaborate with the sales team to remedy payment-related challenges and guarantee timely revenue recognition.

• Create and execute collection strategies to decrease overdue accounts and lessen bad debt.

• Undertake additional tasks as required by the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or General Accounting, or equivalent qualifications.

• Excellent verbal, written, and English communication abilities.

• Willingness to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or during US operating hours.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.

• Experience with accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks.
