This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research on the actual cash value of vehicles utilizing current market data to achieve fair total-loss settlements.
• Verify title status and investigate customizations, previous damages, and overall vehicle condition.
• Recognize salvage-title, grey-market, custom/modified, and previously damaged vehicles to ascertain true market value.
• Analyze DMV reports and pinpoint the correct ownership-transfer documents.
• Secure lienholder payoff amounts along with Letters of Guarantee.
• Negotiate storage fees with body shops and towing companies.
• Address written correspondence and direct requests for accurate documentation.
• Keep updated on vehicle values, industry and market developments, state licensing requirements, and company policies and procedures.
• Contact adjusters to verify coverage, identify potential limit issues or possible fraudulent activities, and secure property-damage settlement approvals.
• Reach out to insured individuals, claimants, or their representatives concerning total-loss claims.
• Maintain thorough documentation of material damage and submit reports in a timely manner.
• Engage in comprehensive training while receiving ongoing guidance and support.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must obtain a Company-sponsored Adjuster’s license upon hiring, which includes a fingerprint background check.
• Experience in Total Loss handling or customer service is necessary.
• Proven proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams) and claims-related software is essential.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, prioritize duties, and deliver precise work products.
• Capability to foster engagement and maintain high morale among team members.
• Strong collaboration skills are necessary.
• Ability to build rapport through emotional intelligence is essential.
• Self-motivation and accountability while working remotely are required.
• A dedicated workspace free from distractions is mandatory.
• Must be capable of maintaining a sedentary position for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to communicate electronically and via telephone with team members, customers, and external parties.
• Must have the ability to operate and type on a computer, laptop, and/or other Company-issued electronic devices for extended durations.
• Must be able to access and utilize the Company computer system effectively.
• Preferred: Associate Degree.
• Preferred: 6+ months of related experience.
• Preferred: Experience managing high call volumes in a professional call center environment.
