Applied AI Engineer Co-op – Spring 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create technical solutions that enable engineers to assess and implement data and AI technologies.

• Advise on system architecture, execute proof of concepts, and provide solutions for key business initiatives, encompassing data science and machine learning frameworks.

• Design and showcase product architectures, write technical code, and demonstrate applications to stakeholders.

• Utilize the Innovator Method, Game Theory, and DecisionIQ to transform customer insights into solutions that generate business value.

• Enhance expertise in cloud platforms, databases, data engineering, web development, AI technologies, and numerical methods.

• Assist team members and foster cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.

• Deliver production solutions that align with business objectives and create significant impact.

• Engage as a learner and contributor to innovation in aerospace design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline at an accredited university or recognized software accelerator program.

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale, without rounding.

• No prior professional experience is necessary.

• Background in designing AI solutions and architecting distributed data systems.

• Proficient in programming and debugging using Python, C#, C++, and SQL.

• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to facilitate design thinking workshops.

• Practical experience in at least one of the following fields: Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Computer Vision.

• Experience in developing solutions on public cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Possession of AWS and/or Azure certification.
