This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Develop product features powered by AI that are embedded within actual insurance workflows.
β’ Create and enhance interactions based on LLMs across both customer-facing and internal systems.
β’ Formulate prompts, reasoning pathways, and structured AI outputs for operational use cases.
β’ Assess model efficacy using real-world data, feedback mechanisms, and experimental approaches.
β’ Enhance the dependability of AI outputs through safety measures, fallback strategies, and validation layers.
β’ Collaborate closely with backend engineers to embed AI functionalities within APIs and workflows.
β’ Design and execute automation features driven by AI, including chat, recommendations, and decision support.
β’ Examine user interactions and model outputs to continually enhance AI performance.
β’ Work in partnership with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive AI features.
β’ Play a role in decision-making regarding AI system design with an emphasis on usability and real-world effects.
β’ Solid software engineering expertise in production settings.
β’ Familiarity with working on LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source variants).
β’ Knowledge of prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool utilization patterns.
β’ Experience in developing or incorporating AI functionalities into tangible products.
β’ Strong grasp of API-driven system integration.
β’ Capability to critically assess AI outputs utilizing data and user insights.
β’ Experience with experimental design, A/B testing, or evaluation methodologies.
β’ A keen product sense with a strong emphasis on user experience.
β’ Comfortable operating in a dynamic, globally distributed team environment.
