This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Ensure the consistent operation and monitoring of applications.
• Oversee and coordinate activities to guarantee availability, recoverability, performance, and resource efficiency.
• Analyze and resolve application incidents while developing effective workarounds.
• Provide support and guidance to users regarding application usage and process execution.
• Keep application users informed about incidents, notifications, and scheduled interruptions.
• Facilitate communication among business units, application owners, support teams, and developers.
• Assist in the specification, testing, and deployment of application releases.
• Plan and coordinate releases, including the preparation of installation plans.
• Collect technical requirements and develop solution concepts for application enhancements.
• Align release agreements and ensure implementation coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance interfaces between applications.
• Create and support change requests for application developers.
• Draft, update, and maintain operating procedures, user manuals, and technical documentation.
• Prepare analyses and statistics tailored to customer needs.
• Conduct data cleansing and maintenance tasks.
• Completed education or training in computer science, business information systems, or a related qualification.
• Multiple years of experience in application management, service management, or application operations.
• Extensive experience in operating and supporting business applications.
• Strong knowledge of release and deployment management, along with planning and coordinating application releases.
• Proven capability to analyze, troubleshoot, and permanently resolve application incidents.
• Good understanding of interface management and collaboration with various IT and business departments.
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, operating procedures, and user manuals.
• Familiarity with data maintenance and the preparation of customer-specific analyses and statistics.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Independent, organized, and solution-oriented work approach.
• Strong customer and service orientation, complemented by teamwork and a high sense of responsibility.
• Analytical mindset and a high degree of initiative.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• 100% workload during the onboarding phase (approximately 2 months), followed by a reduction to 50%.
