Applications Engineer – LAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop proposals and technical documents for potential clients, encompassing design, pricing, and customer requirements.

• Manage the CRM on a daily basis.

• Uphold the standard pricing framework.

• Collaborate with the engineering team on non-standard applications.

• Interact with both internal and external clients.

• Liaise with suppliers.

• Enhance product lines for specific technologies from both cost and technical viewpoints.

• Investigate new technologies and developments, implementing them as needed.

• Evaluate customer specifications.

• Represent BPA at pertinent industry trade shows.

• Travel up to 15% as necessary.

• Undertake other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design, mechanical design, or a related field.

• A combination of relevant experience and/or education will be considered.

• Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English is required.

• AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.

• Demonstrated expertise in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Self-motivated individual with a robust work ethic.

• Forward-thinking mindset.

• Strong networking skills to cultivate and sustain long-term relationships.

• Excellent customer service orientation.

• Ability to perform under tight deadlines in a high-volume setting with multiple priorities.

• Applicants must be willing to travel as needed.

• BPA will not provide sponsorship for employment authorization for this position.

• Job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a drug screening and background check.

• Portuguese language skills are preferred.

• Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AB control platforms is preferred.
