Application Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and prioritize production issues and incidents related to applications.

• Diagnose HTTP and browser-related problems utilizing browser Developer Tools.

• Conduct API testing and troubleshooting with Postman.

• Execute basic SQL queries to verify and investigate application data.

• Examine issues to identify potential causes or patterns.

• Review and interpret basic logs and error messages during the troubleshooting process.

• Clearly document technical findings, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions.

• Effectively communicate technical issues and findings with internal teams and stakeholders.

• Adhere to established troubleshooting and escalation protocols.

• Collaborate with other technical teams when further investigation of issues is necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• English Level: Intermediate–Advanced (B2+).

• Strong grasp of HTTP fundamentals and REST APIs.

• Fundamental knowledge of SQL and capability to execute queries for data validation and troubleshooting.

• Practical experience using Postman for API testing.

• Experience in troubleshooting web or application issues through browser Developer Tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to document technical findings and troubleshooting activities clearly.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with technical teams.

• Familiarity with application and system logs.

• Basic understanding of JSON.

• Knowledge of authentication concepts such as tokens, API keys, or basic authentication.

• Previous experience in Application Support, Technical Support, Production Support, or a related role.

• Understanding of incident management and troubleshooting processes.
